Celebrating Doctors' Day March 30
March 31, 2026
Saint Mary’s is celebrating Doctors’ Day by honoring the physicians who devote their expertise and compassion to caring for families across the River Valley.
Many of these physicians are also local residents—neighbors who share the same schools, stores, parks and community traditions as the people they serve. Their connection to the region drives a level of commitment that extends far beyond the walls of the hospital.
“Doctors’ Day is an opportunity to honor the providers who not only deliver high‑quality medical care, but who also contribute meaningfully to the community we all share,” said Casey Willis, CEO. “Their dedication is the foundation of our mission and the heart of Saint Mary’s.”
Physicians at Saint Mary’s continue to champion new technologies and care models that enhance patient safety and outcomes. Recent efforts include expanding minimally invasive surgical options, strengthening education and support programs for patients and advancing responsible prescribing initiatives focused on safer healing.
Many of these improvements supported Saint Mary’s achievement of its first Leapfrog A Hospital Safety Grade, reflecting strong collaboration across clinical teams.
“Whether performing complex procedures, participating in community outreach, volunteering or supporting patients through challenging moments, our physicians demonstrate exceptional dedication to this community,” said Willis. “We are grateful for their service and their ongoing efforts to advance care in the River Valley.”
Saint Mary’s invites the community to join in recognizing and thanking local physicians for their continued commitment to excellence.
